Superberries polyphenols SBBX

Superberries Polyphenols SBBXTM is based on two of the most famous berries from South America: açai and maqui.

The small deep blue açai berry has been known for centuries by the indigenous people of the Amazon rain forest. The berries are made into a fruit pulp that, when flash-frozen, retains its antioxidant and vitamin properties even when shipped around the world. The deep purple maqui berry has been used for hundreds of years by the Mapuche Indians of Chile and Argentina for its medicinal and antiaging benefits. Maqui extract is also widely used as a coloring agent for Chilean wines.

Both acai and maqui berries contain an extraordinary antioxidant compound called anthocyanin, which is thought to have many health and antiaging benefits with its ability to neutralize free radicals in the body, combat tissue damage and strengthen the immune system. Açai berries contain 10 times more antioxidant vitamins than grapes and twice as many as blueberries. The antioxidants in the açai were found to be exceptional against the peroxyl radical and could enter human cells in a fully functional form even at low doses. Conclusions suggested that açai contains anti-inflammatory and enhanced immune function potential. Maqui berries contain the highest antioxidant value of any known superfruit.

Açai (Euterpe oleracea) is a palm tree native to tropical Central and South America that produces a reddish-purple berry. The acai berry’s name, which comes from a language of the native people of the region, means “fruit that cries.” The acai berry has long been an important food source for indigenous peoples of the Amazon region, who also use açai for a variety of health-related purposes. They help regulate blood sugars and contents to help keep it at stable levels which also protection from diabetes, they help also in lowering cholesterol. Açai berries are rich in omega-6 and omega-9, these fatty acids help reducing the bad cholesterol (LDL) while increasing the good cholesterol (HDL).
